Class Descriptions

Primary Ballet Program (Ages 3-5)

In the Primary class students will learn basic ballet positions, dance hand positioning and will work on a staged, costumed routine for the year end dance recital. Class length is 30 minutes, 1 time per week. Tuition is $43 per month.

Ballet I / Ballet II A Program (Ages 5-9)

The Ballet I class expands on the concept of the Primary class. The Ballet I / Ballet II A class expands on the concepts of the Primary and Ballet I classes. By the end of the year, Ballet I students will be taught to dance set work independently of the teacher and will memorize a few simple exercises and sequences. Ballet I / Ballet II A is beginning Ballet II technique. Ballet I Class is 45 minutes, 1 time per week. Tuition is $47 per month. Ballet I / Ballet II Combined Class is 1 hour, 1 time per week. Tuition is $53 per month.

Ballet II / Ballet II B Program (Ages 7-teens)

Ballet II/Ballet II B students learn basic ballet technique and terminology. This is a good class for children 7 and up and for adult beginners. Ballet II B is an introduction to Ballet III technique. Class length is 1 hour, at least twice per week. Tuition is $96 per month.

Ballet III / Intermediate Program & Beginning Pointe (Ages 10+)

Intermediate ballet technique and terminology is taught in this class, which is more physically demanding and expands on the syllabus of the Ballet II class. Tuition is $27 per month more than the Ballet II Program. Tuition is $123 per month.

Advanced Ballet Program (Ages 13+)

Advanced ballet technique and terminology is taught in this class, which expands on the syllabus of Ballet III. Students are required to take at least three classes per week and to learn repertoire. Tuition is $200 per month.

Jazz/Hip Hop I Program (ages 5-pre-teens)

This beginner program allows student to take the two most popular forms of dance in one class. The Jazz/Hip Hop class teaches fundamental jazz steps and hip hop moves to contemporary music. We have found that the combination of jazz and hip hop is ideal for this age. Tuition is $47 per month.

Jazz/Hip Hop II Program (pre-teens & teens)

This class expands on the Hip Hop I class and introduces more complex moves and routines. Tuition is $53 per month.

Flamenco (Pre-teens, teens and adults; beginner dancers welcome)

Students in this class will learn Sevillanas and other Spanish dance styles. Castanets and footwork will be introduced as the class develops. This is a good class for all dance students wishing to expand their dance education and style. Tuition is $53 per month.

Adult Classes—Stretch/Tone, Jazz/Hip Hop & Ballet (Teens & up)

Students in our adult classes learn moves and routines in a casual atmosphere. We understand the needs of adult students and approach the class differently from our children's programs. Many adult students use the dance programs for fitness. Tuition for 1 hr 15 minutes is $57 per month, and Tuition for 1 hr 30 minutes is $63 per month. Tuition for both classes per week is $110 per month.

Tuition Discounts

Tuition includes discounts for multiple classes and additional discounts for tuition paid in full annually at the time of registration.
